Report: Leeds interested in Hull star Keane Lewis-Potter
Leeds United are interested in signing Keane Lewis-Potter, with I News reporting that they are one of a number of sides monitoring the Hull City forward.
The Whites continue to work on bolstering their squad this summer. They have already brought three new signings in. But there may be plenty more to do.
Leeds, of course, are currently facing a battle to keep Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha. But fans would also like to see a couple of other areas strengthened too.
The forward line is certainly one which looks a little light at present. And while fans will be hoping for some marquee deals, Leeds are open to signing players from the Championship, according to I News.
In fact, one player they have their eye on is Lewis-Potter. The young forward scored 12 goals for Hull last season, with the majority of his appearances coming out wide or in an attacking midfield role.
Leeds are not the only Premier League side keen on the 21-year-old. Reports have claimed that Antonio Conte wants the £15 million-rated starlet at Tottenham.
Leeds interested in Lewis-Potter
Lewis-Potter may not be the attacking signing many Leeds fans would hope for. They have exciting, young attacking prospects already. But what they perhaps lack is proven players in those positions.
But it is hard to not draw comparisons between Lewis-Potter and Jarrod Bowen. Bowen has gone on to become one of the best forwards in the Premier League after a superb spell with the Tigers.
Lewis-Potter has been described as a ‘special‘ talent. And it would be no surprise to see him end up in the Premier League this summer.
If he could cost £15 million, Leeds could surely do a lot worse than attempt to bring him to Elland Road.
