Leeds United are in talks over signing a new back-up goalkeeper, the Yorkshire Evening Post suggests.
One in, one out
Leeds are set to lose Kiko Casilla to Elche, which means that there is gap emerging in their squad.
Although many Leeds fans expected Elia Caprile to be promoted to the first-team, it seems that the promising young stopper could remain third choice.
That is because Leeds are working on doing a deal for a long-term target.
The Whites are aiming to land a goalkeeper from abroad, who is said to have been identified as a real talent at the same time as they spotted Ilian Meslier.
They are hoping to have the player signed in the next two weeks, before their first pre-season friendly against Guiseley.

Repeating the trick
If Leeds could land another goalkeeper of similar quality to Meslier then they could be on the verge of an excellent signing.
Meslier was not a particularly costly addition to Leeds’ squad, but he has quickly become their number one.
The Frenchman has proven his quality in the Premier League over the last season and is now regarded as one of the best prospects in his position in European football.
