Leeds United will have to fend off even more competition if they wish to land Conor Gallagher, with reports from Kicker suggesting Arminia Bielefeld are now interested in the Chelsea man.
The Daily Mail claimed over the weekend that Leeds were among the clubs to have enquired about Gallagher. The youngster impressed last season in the Championship, with Charlton and Swansea both reaping rewards.

However, he is now back with the Blues and Frank Lampard is weighing up what the next move will be for the attacking midfield player.
Lampard has a host of attacking options at his disposal and has just signed Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech to boost them. It could mean, then, that Gallagher is given another season away from the club.

Leeds will expect to be in prime position to swoop but Gallagher may see interest from Germany as attractive. A number of young English players have flourished in the Bundesliga and the Chelsea man may well want a slice of the pie.
Leeds a good move but Germany is attractive for young players – TBR View
This is exactly the sort of surprise interest Leeds could have done without if they are serious about landing Conor Gallagher.
They’d have been confident in fending off other clubs in England but interest from Germany is a bit of a spanner in the works. Players have gone to Germany and done so well, the Gallagher might well be tempted.
Furthermore, it gives Frank Lampard another option. He’s hardly Leeds’ biggest fan as we all know so he might well direct traffic and try and insist a move to Bielefeld happens.
