Greek outlet SDNA have claimed that Leeds United outcast Laurens De Bock is set to arrive in Greece on Wednesday before completing a move to Aris Thessaloniki.
De Bock, 26, joined Leeds in January 2018 from then Champions League side Club Brugge. He featured just seven times following his £1.5million (Yorkshire Evening Post), and was loaned out by Marcelo Bielsa in the summer.
He returned to his home country last summer, joining Jupiler League side KV Oostende where he impressed – making 23 appearances at left-back and at centre-back. He has three years left on his Leeds contract.
The report claims De Bock will arrive in Greece on Wednesday to undergo a medical ahead of a season-long loan move to Aris, who remain in Europa League qualifying this summer and face Molde on Thursday.

TBR’s view – De Bock has no Leeds future
Leeds fans will have no issue with De Bock leaving the club for another season if it means he is going to play for a Europa League side. The only issue is that he has not been sold permanently.
The rise of Leif Davis and the move to left-back for Gjanni Alioski has given competition to Barry Douglas. It leaves De Bock with zero chance of reigniting a Leeds career. He goes down as another Victor Orta dud.
