The Daily Star have claimed that Leeds United could be about to sign Jack Harrison, but somewhat surprisingly they may be about to land a permanent deal for the Manchester City star.
Harrison, 22, is believed to be in talks over rejoining Leeds this summer, with it being widely reported that the England Under-21 international is likely to join the club on a loan-to buy deal this summer.
The former New York City star split opinion at Elland Road last season, but Marcelo Bielsa is huge fan. Indeed, the Argentine played 37 times in the league, scoring four goals and laying on three assists.
A loan deal looks to be in the offing, but the Daily Star have claimed that now Tottenham Hotspur are about to complete the signing of Jack Clarke, Leeds could look to meet Manchester City’s £7million valuation of Harrison.

Indeed, they claim that Leeds may look to spend the Clarke money on Harrison and land him permanently this summer. It remains to be seen what route Leeds go down, but it appears that both are viable options.
TBR’s view – Loan deal for Harrison makes more sense for Leeds
Harrison is a solid player for the Whites, but there are still question marks surrounding whether he can take the step from a solid six or seven out of 10 – to an eight or a nine.
Before Leeds spend big on the winger, they should land him on loan. Giving Harrison a full pre-season at Leeds and the chance to build on last season’s form will give Leeds all the knowledge they need before making a permanent move.
£7million is cheap for Harrison given he is young, at Manchester City and is an England youth international. But Leeds have got to consider a loan, before splashing out.
