Leeds United could sell Tottenham target Daniel James to help fund a move for Hwang Hee-chan, who may cost just £15 million this summer, according to a report from The Sun.
Leeds were reminded on Saturday of why they may need another striker before the deadline passes. They were beaten 1-0 at Brighton.

The result was a fair one. But the Whites did have their moments where they threatened to end their long wait for a goal away against the Seagulls. However, when the crucial moment came, they struggled to get a decent attempt away.
And with that, Leeds’ focus on the final days of the window will surely be signing another striker. And it seems that the player Jesse Marsch wants is Hwang.

Reports this week claimed that he is looking to be reunited with the Wolves forward. It was suggested that he will cost £25 million.
But perhaps he may actually cost significantly less. The Sun reports that Wolves could accept £15 million for the South Korea international.
There is also interest from Everton. But Leeds could sell James to help fund a move. The only offer on the table currently for the Welshman is from Tottenham. But that is reportedly a loan bid.
Leeds could sell James to fund Hwang move
Leeds fans may be scratching their heads wondering why James needs to leave for a bid for Hwang to be made.
The Whites were prepared to break their club-record on Charles De Ketelaere earlier in the window. And they have not made any signings since. So presumably, that money is still largely available.
Of course, De Ketelaere looks to be one of the most exciting talents around. But Hwang will apparently cost half the amount. And he is someone Marsch knows from his time with Red Bull Salzburg. He has also been described as ‘devastating‘.
Some Leeds supporters may not mind the idea of selling James. Unfortunately, the move has not quite worked out for various reasons.
But the idea that James needs to be sold for Hwang to come in will frustrate many.
