Leeds United could reportedly complete a loan deal for Manchester City attacker Jack Harrison imminently.
According to Leeds Live, the Whites are expecting to wrap up a loan deal for the 22-year-old this week.
The winger spent last season on loan at Elland Road from the Premier League champions and it looks like he may be back for another stint.
It is understood that the dazzling wide player is excited to link up with manager Marco Bielsa, as he made him a regular in the team last season.
The report details that negotiations are underway between Leeds and Manchester City for Harrison, with a loan deal likely to be agreed.
Harrison played 42 times last season across all competitions for Leeds, scoring four goals and supplying four assists in return.
He was an ever-present in the team due to his immense work-rate and suited Bielsa’s style of play, but just lacked end product at times.
Bielsa is clearly a big admirer of Harrison and striking a loan deal for another season should be viewed as a positive.
He could become a real force in the Championship if he improves his goal tally and just becomes a touch calmer when in the final third.
The Yorkshire giants need to get going with some transfer activity ahead of next season, where the aim has to be another assault on promotion from the Championship.
They have a core group of players that finished third in the last campaign and lost in the play-offs, with Harrison certainly playing his role in that.
He doesn’t look quite ready to make the step up to the Premier League next season, but it makes sense to have another crack in the Championship and he should have no problem settling again at Elland Road.
