Leeds United have considered a move for Arsenal defender Rob Holding this summer as Marcelo Bielsa looks to land a new centre-back, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The Whites are interested in bringing Ben White back to Elland Road following his outstanding loan spell during their title-winning campaign last season.

The Mail reports that securing a return for White is going to be difficult for Leeds. And thus, they appear to be considering alternative options.
According to the Mail, Leeds have considered a move for Holding. But it remains to be seen whether the Whites decide to confirm their interest with a bid.

TBR View: Leeds do appear to have opportunity
Holding’s appearance in the FA Cup perhaps hints that Leeds face another uphill battle. Mikel Arteta also finished the campaign with a number of centre-backs sidelined due to injury.
However, The Sun on Sunday (26/7; page 65) reported last month that the Gunners are open to selling Holding.
That would suggest that there is an opportunity for another club to land the 24-year-old.
He is a player who has also been praised by Arteta during his brief tenure. In comments reported by Football London, the Spaniard claimed in January that he was going to be ‘very valuable’ to the Gunners.
His stance may have changed since then. And if he is expecting to be working with a modest budget this summer, perhaps he may be more willing to sanction a sale if Leeds or another club come calling.
