Leeds United are apparently closing in on their next summer signing, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that the Whites are set to land Crysencio Summerville.
The Whites have been busy in recent weeks in the transfer market. As well as landing a number of exciting young players, Marcelo Bielsa’s men have also brought in Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch.
And it appears that their next addition may not be too far away.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Leeds are close to signing Summerville. It is noted that the Whites will pay around €1 million (£910,000) for the 18-year-old.
The move for Summerville is another from Leeds that appears to have a lot going for it. The teenager has already made 21 appearances in the Eredivisie, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
He has also represented the Netherlands at various youth levels.
And the fee certainly appears to take a lot of the pressure off of the youngster. He is likely to enjoy the breathing space to develop his game without major expectations.
It does appear that he has the potential to enjoy an incredibly bright career. And it seems that the next step in his career is about to take him to West Yorkshire with a deal edging ever closer.
