Leeds United, West Ham and Southampton have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Mikkel Damsgaard, according to a report from the Daily Star.
Damsgaard has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in Serie A this season. The Dane has scored two goals and provided four assists in 20 top flight games.

He has started just 10 times in the league this term. But his form is not going unnoticed.
The Daily Star has reported that Spurs have been asked to be kept informed of any developments involving the 20-year-old, who is also wanted by Juventus.

The report claims that Leeds are among a host of Premier League clubs to have now joined the race. Sampdoria signed Damsgaard for £5.2 million, and would be looking for almost three times that amount to sell him this summer.
According to the Daily Star, he is set to cost around £15 million.
TBR View: Damsgaard could be a hugely exciting signing for Leeds – and a bargain at £15 million
It is not difficult to see Damsgaard being on Leeds’s radar. He looks to be a player with a reasonable asking price and seemingly with an enormous amount of potential.
He is also a youngster who has demonstrated his versatility this season. Damsgaard has predominantly played on the left wing for the Blucerchiati. But he can also play up front or in an attacking midfield role.
But based on the latest report, the Whites are not going to have an easy time trying to secure his signature by any means.
