Report: Leeds and West Ham target rejects massive contract offer
Fabio Carvalho may have put the likes of Leeds United and West Ham on alert with The Sun reporting that he has rejected a massive contract offer from Fulham.
Carvalho is out of contract at Craven Cottage at the end of the season. He has made a superb start to life in the first-team. The 19-year-old has scored four times in 12 games, including three in six in the Championship this year.
He has just handed Fulham a major boost by returning from a lengthy injury. But perhaps he may not represent the Cottagers too many more times.
The Sun reports that he has rejected a massive contract offer from Fulham. And it is claimed that he could now leave in the January transfer window with Real Madrid keen.
The report will alert a host of Premier League clubs. It was reported back in August that the likes of Leeds and West Ham want Carvalho.
With his contract situation uncertain for some time, it appears entirely possible that their interest could remain.
Leeds must make Carvalho move as former teammate shines in landmark week
Carvalho boasts an outstanding record for Fulham’s youth teams. He has scored 33 goals for the under-18s and under-23s.
Many of those appearances would have come alongside Cody Drameh. The right-back joined Leeds from Fulham back in 2020.
He has been superb for the Whites. And he has been rewarded for his brilliant form with a first-team debut and a first Premier League appearance in the last week.
That should perhaps inspire Leeds to make a move for Carvalho amid reports that he has rejected a new deal.
