Leeds United and West Ham United are amongst the English sides to take a look at Adrian Embarba, according to a report from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Neither the Whites or the Hammers are looking for their first signings of the January transfer window. But the pair are searching for their first outfield addition of the month with both landing a goalkeeper so far.

And it appears that they may be after the same player.
Mundo Deportivo reports that both Leeds and West Ham want Embarba, while Norwich City are also keen.
It is suggested that the Canaries are actually the team leading the charge amongst the English contingent of admirers.

Embarba has been excellent for Rayo Vallecano this season. The 27-year-old has scored seven goals in 23 Segunda Division appearances.
He has also contributed 11 assists. And his ability to play on either wing suggests he could prove to be an exciting signing for one of the English sides if they can win the race.
TBR View – Leeds would produce coup landing Embarba if they are in race
It remains to be seen how serious Leeds’s interest in. It appears that Marcelo Bielsa’s side are already on the verge of adding to their options out wide.
The Daily Mail reports that Leeds are closing in on signing Manchester City’s Ian Poveda. So it would perhaps be a surprise if they were that serious about bringing Embarba to Elland Road.
But it would be a coup if it turned out that the Championship side did want the wide-man and did manage to secure his signature.
He has had a direct hand in 18 goals this season. And while Leeds certainly have bigger priorities this month, he would add to their quality in the final third.
