Spanish website Cuatro have claimed that Leeds United and Everton are ready to table offers to sign Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez who is out of contract at the end of the season – and the Whites are ready to give him a big wage.
Vazquez, 29, has been allowed to enter the final six months of his contract under Zinedine Zidane – despite remaining a crucial part of Real Madrid’s side this season, clocking up 29 appearances in all competitions for The Galacticos.
The nine-time Spain international has been converted into a right-sided defender this season at Real, despite naturally being a winger. Constantly in and out of the side, he has 231 appearances under his belt for Madrid.
The latest report claims Everton, Napoli and AC Milan are all interested – with Carlo Ancelotti approving a move. But Leeds are also interested and it is claimed that the Whites are ready to offer £83,000-a-week to Vazquez. He currently earns £50,000.

TBR’s view – Vazquez would be a stunning signing for Leeds
Given that Vazquez has shown versatility this season, he would give massive competition in the final third to Raphinha and Jack Harrison – but could also replace Luke Ayling on the right side of the defence.
Everton have options at right-back in the form of Seamus Coleman and Mason Holgate – and if they play a three-man defence, Alex Iwobi also emerges an option with Jonjoe Kenny on loan at Celtic.
The Toffees also boast numerous options on the wings, making Leeds a better move for Vazquez. Certainly, he is a huge name and on a free transfer, Vazquez would be an amazing signing – for most Premier League clubs, including Leeds.
