Italian outlet FC Inter News have claimed Leeds United have agreed a deal with Inter Milan for Irish defender Ryan Nolan, but a fee still remains to be agreed for Argentine striker Facundo Colidio.
The Championship club have reportedly been in talks with Italian giants Inter for some time over signing both Nolan and Colidio, and remain locked in negotiations ahead of Thursday’s 5pm deadline.
It is believed that centre-back Nolan, who captains Inter’s Under-19 side, has agreed a three-year deal with the Elland Road club. The report describes a move for the defender as ‘definitive’.
However, a move for Argentina Under-23 international Colidio remains ongoing. It is yet to be revealed whether Leeds are looking to land Colidio on an immediate, permanent deal – or whether they prefer a loan-to-buy deal.
Colidio would not affect the five-loan match-day rule, given he is contracted to an overseas club. But Leeds and Inter are still haggling over a fee, with Leeds currently willing to pay £5.5million for Colidio.

TBR’s view – Colidio and Nolan would give depth to Leeds
It has been something lacking among Marcelo Bielsa’s side since he took over. The groundbreaking manager is renowned for preferring a close-knit, small squad. But in the Championship, that is difficult to maintain.
It caught up with Leeds last season as injuries took their toll and they dropped off towards the end. Adding both Nolan – which seems to be a done deal – and Colidio – if a fee can be agreed – would be excellent business.
It would give the Whites the cover required to push for promotion, with talks ongoing for Ryan Kent and Eddie Nketiah.
