Leeds United will announce their sixth signing of the summer this week, with Norwegian outlet Nettavisen reporting that Kristoffer Klaesson will complete his move and sign a five-year deal on Friday.
Klaesson looks set to replace Kiko Casilla in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad. The Spaniard left Elche on loan earlier in the window.

According to Nettavisen, Klaesson is now in England. It is suggested that Leeds have agreed to pay over £1.6 million for the 20-year-old. The deal will includes various bonuses.
He will be out of quarantine today. He will soon undergo a medical. A work permit meanwhile, has reportedly been approved.

Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that he is set to sign a five-year deal at Elland Road. The deal will reportedly be rubber stamped on Friday.
Leeds will hope they have produced another Meslier-like masterstroke as Klaesson deal nears
There are parallels between Illan Meslier and Klaesson. Meslier arrived at Leeds having previously been Lorient’s number one.
Klaesson arrives with well over 50 career appearances under his belt. That is extremely impressive for a goalkeeper who does not turn 21 until November.
The deal for Meslier has proved to be a masterstroke. The Frenchman is arguably one of the best goalkeeping prospects in Europe.
So it would be a huge coup if Leeds have repeated the trick with Klaesson.
Whites fans seem fairly realistic about their chances of keeping Meslier if his upward trajectory continues.
So having someone like Klaesson around would be a major boost. And it will be very interesting to see how Bielsa manages the two goalkeepers.
It will also be intriguing to see if the deal pushes Meslier.
Klaesson will have his sights set on the number one role. So he will be hoping to put a little pressure on his teammate.
