Alexandre Lacazette was yelling furiously at Arsenal teammates Emile Smith Rowe and Granit Xhaka at the midway point during the first-half of the Gunners’ win over Aston Villa on Saturday, according to a report from Football London.
Mikel Arteta’s men got a big win in their push to finish in the top-four in the Premier League. Bukayo Saka scored the only goal at Villa Park. And they restricted the visitors to very few chances. Certainly, Bernd Leno did not have too much to do.

It was not a perfect afternoon however. And there was one moment where tensions boiled over slightly, it seems.
Football London reports that Lacazette was left furious with Smith Rowe and Xhaka after one Arsenal attack. It came after he received a pass from Thomas Partey with his back to goal.
He lost possession after attempting to turn and potentially get a shot away. However, it would appear that the Frenchman was hoping to lay the ball off to somewhere around the 18-yard line. And he was not happy that neither made a move.

The missed opportunity would not cost Arsenal however. The decisive goal came less than eight minutes. Lacazette may feel vindicated somewhat by the fact that Saka was indeed able to beat Martinez from just outside the penalty area.
May not be too surprising Arsenal teammates were not on same wavelength as Lacazette
In fairness to Smith Rowe and Xhaka, you can understand why they may not have been on exactly the same wavelength as Lacazette.
Smith Rowe was making his first start in a month. Xhaka meanwhile, is still getting to grips with the more advanced role he plays in the midfield.
It seems unlikely anyway that Lacazette held a grudge against his Arsenal teammates for too long given the result.
