Report: Kristensen seen celebrating after what Tyler Adams did in the 21st minute of Leeds' friendly last night

Leeds United ended their pre-season preparations with an emphatic 6-2 win over Serie A outfit Cagliari last night.

While the result in itself is encouraging, there was one moment that Leeds fans will be particularly happy to see. Leeds Live reports that new signing Rasmus Kristensen was delighted with fellow new-boy Tyler Adams after he won a free-kick in the 21st minute

Kristensen and Adams are two of the six new signings to be brought to Elland Road so far this summer and they’re clearly building a good relationship already.

Jesse Marsch will be hoping that all of his new signings can follow suit and forge similar bonds ahead of the new season.

Leeds Live reports that Kristensen celebrated Adams winning a free-kick like his team had scored a goal

The new Leeds right-back was seen pumping both his fists after Adams went to ground and won a free-kick on the edge of the Cagliari box.

Kristensen then approached the American midfielder and praised him for his actions.

It’s clear that the Danish international has plenty of passion for the game and Leeds fans will undoubtedly love to see this type of commitment, especially during a friendly.

The moment will be great to see for Marsch as well as he looks to get his new signings up to speed before the Premier League season begins.

Leeds’ new-boys are settling in well at Elland Road

Four of Leeds’ new signings started the game at Elland Road last night, with Adams and Kristensen being two of them.

While it was only a friendly fixture, Leeds impressed and this can only be a good thing ahead of the new season.

The Premier League will undoubtedly offer up tougher tests than Marsch’s side faced last night, but it seems that his new signings are settling in well.

If Leeds are to avoid being dragged into another relegation fight, the new additions will have to adjust to English football as soon as possible.
