Liverpool youngster Kaide Gordon is set to make his debut against Norwich City, according to the Athletic.
Debut incoming
Liverpool are due to take on Norwich in the League Cup in just under three weeks’ time, when Jurgen Klopp is expected to name a rotated line-up.
Gordon has impressed over pre-season and with Liverpool’s development side last term.
And it is now claimed that he is ‘likely; to make his senior debut for the Reds in the contest.
Great progress
That represents fine progress for a teenager who only signed from Derby County at the start of the year.
Gordon has already proven that he can make an impact in Liverpool’s first-team though.
The youngster looked a real livewire over pre-season, where he was able to get on the scoresheet.

He has continued to train with the senior squad regularly ever since, and now looks to be a huge prospect for the club.
Gordon will have seen the progress of Harvey Elliott, who is only two years his senior, and surely been heartened by Klopp’s trust in the creative midfielder.
And it may only be a matter of time before Gordon plays a very prominent role at Liverpool if he continues to progress at his current rate.
