West Bromwich Albion are edging closer to signing Karlan Grant, with Sky Sports reporting that the striker is set to undergo a medical on Thursday after a fee was agreed.
Grant has been linked with a move to the Hawthorns for much of the window. He is yet to play for Huddersfield Town since the start of the new campaign.

Sky Sports suggests that talks between the Baggies and the Terriers have been ongoing for more than a month. But it appears that there has finally been a breakthrough.
According to Sky Sports, a fee of £15 million has been agreed. West Brom will reportedly pay in instalments, and that has meant that Grant is set for a medical on Thursday.

It will be a huge boost for Slaven Bilic to land Grant. It did appear that West Brom really needed to strengthen their striker options before the window shut.
Grant is a player who scored 19 goals in the Championship last season. But he is also someone who boasted an impressive record in the top flight, having arrived at Huddersfield just a few months before they were relegated.
He scored four goals. Despite only making 13 appearances – of which, nine were starts – he ended that season as their top goalscorer.
And West Brom will be hoping that he adapts just as quickly should he now complete his switch to the Hawthorns.
