Report: Juventus willing to listen to bids for 21-year-old; Tottenham, Guardiola and Pochettino could all move
CalcioMercato claim Juventus are willing to ‘listen to offers’ for Dejan Kulusevski with Tottenham, Manchester City and PSG all said to be keen.
Kulusevski, 21, only joined Juventus in January 2020 for a fee of £30million (Goal). He has since played 62 times, having a hand in 16 goals for Juve.
He went on loan to Parma before joining Juventus, scoring 10 goals and creating nine more in 39 games. He is also a Sweden international.
But ultimately, although young, he is yet to set the world alight in Max Allegri’s squad. Juve want to raise funds, and Kulusevski could go.
The report claims they are willing to offload the versatile attacker. The report also states that Tottenham are keen, Paratici signed him in 2020.
He could go after the Swede for a second time, but may face competition from Manchester City and Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham eye Kulusevski: Is the Swedish talent what Spurs need?
Tottenham need to bring in players that improve the squad now. Ultimately, they already have exciting attacking options – Bryan Gil, for example.
Spurs need a centre-back, a midfielder and cover for Harry Kane. Kulusevski could do the latter, but he is more natural as a 10 or out wide.
It might depend on the price. Tottenham should only really be interested if Juventus are willing to cash in for a fee less than the one they paid for him.
If Spurs can get him for around £20million, then it is a move they should consider. But any more, and Paratici is better off looking elsewhere.
