Report: Juventus want to sign Pedro Neto from Wolves

Wolves could be facing a fight to keep hold of young forward, Pedro Neto, with the Daily Mail claiming Juventus want to sign the Portguese star.

The Mail claims that reports from Italy are suggesting that Juventus want to sign Neto, despite the 20-year-old only signing a new long-term and big-money deal with Wolves not long back.

Neto hit the headlines last season with five goals and five assists and has continued his fine form into this term, already scoring the one goal and assisting two. That form has earned him a call-up to the Portugal national team, and Neto scored on his debut this week.

But Juventus seem to think they can get a deal over the line for the Wolves star, despite his form and new deal. Of course, the Molineux outfit are in no rush to sell, and could demand a mammoth fee from the Turin side.

Wolves would be really selling themselves short if they allowed Neto to move on just as he’s developing into a big star.

He’s fitted in nicely under Nuno Santo and looks to be getting better and better by the week, becoming a key support figure for star striker, Raul Jimenez.

Obviously, if a huge fee came their way they may consider it but, for now at least. Wolves need to be keeping hold of Neto if they harbour aspirations of snatching a top four spot.
