Report: Juventus reject Arsenal enquiry for Dejan Kulusevski
Arsenal and Manchester City are amongst the sides to have had enquiries for Dejan Kulusevski rejected by Juventus in recent weeks, according to a report from Calciomercato.
Kulusevski looks to be one of the most exciting talents plying his trade in Europe right now.
The 21-year-old – who cost Juve an initial £30 million in 2019 – scored seven goals and provided seven assists in all competitions last season.
He played all over the final third for the Old Lady. But he predominantly featured on the right wing.
It is felt that there is a lot more to come from the Sweden international. But Juventus believe that he is going to be an important player moving forward.
And it appears that they have already demonstrated how much faith they have in him.
According to Calciomercato, Arsenal, City and Bayern Munich have all seen approaches rejected in recent weeks.
Kulusevski would have been an amazing signing for Arsenal
Arsenal have been one of the Premier League sides to have really made a statement of intent in this window.
Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga have joined. Ben White meanwhile, is reportedly undergoing a medical ahead of his move.
So it is little surprise that they seemingly made an ambitious move for a prospect like Kulusevski.
It would have potentially been an amazing bit of business to land the wide-man – particularly if they ultimately beat Bayern and Pep Guardiola’s men to his signature.
