French website Le10Sport have claimed that Serie A leaders Juventus have been in talks ‘for several days’ with the representatives of Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette over a summer move for the striker.
Lacazette, 29, has enjoyed an excellent career already following prolific spells at Lyon and Arsenal. But for a player of his calibre, the France cap has little in the trophy cabinet – just one major honour, a French Cup win.
Just two appearances short of 400 club outings for Lyon and Arsenal – with 177 goals to his name – Lacazette may finally want to join a club where silverware is a necessity, rather than a celebration.
Juventus is that kind of club. Maurizio Sarri’s Juve are set to hold aloft their ninth consecutive Serie A title – and that may really tempt Lacazette. Juventus have been in talks with Lacazette’s agents for numerous days, as per the report.

TBR’s view – Should Arsenal cash in? And at what price?
A £52million (Telegraph) signing in the summer of 2017, Lacazette has been in indifferent form this season – scoring 12 in 35 appearances and losing his place in the team at one point to Eddie Nketiah.
But Lacazette has scored three goals in his last four games – including a cool finish past Alisson during the 2-1 win over Liverpool. Should Arsenal cash in? Only if an appropriate offer is made – something similar to what Arsenal paid Lyon three years ago would be a good deal for the Gunners.
