Report: Juventus contact Everton over move for Moise Kean

Juventus have contacted Everton over a move to re-sign Moise Kean, according to Fabrizio Romano.

What’s the story?

According to the transfer guru, Paris Saint Germain failed with a loan bid to sign the £27m Italian back in June.

Kean spent the 2020/2021 campaign with the French giants, scoring 19 goals in over 40 games. However, it seems he could be set for a return to Turin.

The Old Lady could be set to lose a talismanic figure in Cristiano Ronaldo. Romano has claimed the Portuguese attacker has asked to leave Juventus this window.

Meanwhile, news has emerged over a potential move to Manchester City this summer. However, the Citizens do not want to pay a fee for the player with Juventus demanding €30m (£26m).

7 Footballers Who Had Incredibly Misleading Debuts

Rafa Benitez said the £53k-per-week ace ‘needs to learn’ after his red card versus Huddersfield on Tuesday.

Too late in the window for Everton to sell

With the transfer deadline fast approaching, it is too late for Everton to sell Kean to Juventus.

The Toffees will have to find a like-minded replacement and, given his performances last season, that could prove impossible.

As mentioned above, Kean was on fire for PSG, scoring 19 times. After struggling in his debut campaign, he showed off his true quality to the Merseysiders.

It is a sign of what the player can produce when surrounded by the right players.

So, where do you find a promising young talent, who can score so frequently in the market? Benitez would have an impossible job on his hands, exactly why he should keep the young star at the club.
