Leeds United are being linked with a move for Croatian talent Josko Gvardiol at present, and a report in his homeland has suggested when a deal might go ahead.
Sportske Novosti is claiming that Leeds have already agreed a €20 million (£17.7m) deal with the player’s club, Dinamo Zagreb.
It is even suggested that an offer from French side Lille, looking for a replacement for the Arsenal newbie Gabriel Magalhaes, has been rejected out of hand as it comes nowhere near the price Leeds are willing to pay for the player.

However, Leeds will have to wait to secure the 18-year-old.
The left-footed defender wants to help Dinamo secure their place in the Champions League next season and is therefore likely to feature against Celtic’s conquerors Ferencvaros first. That game is played on the 16th September, so Leeds might have some time to wait if they are adamant about bringing Gvardiol to the club.
But the report claims that Gvardiol will then pack his things and leave for England, joining Robin Koch in strengthening a Leeds defence weakened by the departure of Ben White and injury to Gaetano Berardi, whose contract situation at Leeds remains a mystery.
It is not known if Leeds will be willing to wait that long to secure his services but it seems a deal is on if they are ready to exercise that degree of patience.
