Joe Rodon is keen to make the move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, with The Telegraph reporting on their live blog (5/10; 20:43) that talks with Swansea City are continuing.
Spurs have, so far, failed to add a centre-back to their ranks on deadline day. The Telegraph notes that they have shown interest in Milan Skriniar, Antonio Rudiger and John Stones.

However, as the initial deadline looms, it appears that Rodon is the player on Jose Mourinho’s radar.
The Telegraph reports on its live blog (5/10; 20:43) that discussions with the Swans are continuing.

And in a further boost to Tottenham’s hopes, The Telegraph adds that Rodon is keen to move to North London. Of course, Spurs actually have until midway through the month to complete a deal with Swansea in the Championship.

Rodon may reportedly be keen on a move. But it does appear that the two clubs are some distance apart in their valuations of the 22-year-old.
The Daily Mail reported earlier on deadline day that Spurs had offered just £7 million for the Wales international. Meanwhile, Swansea want £18 million for Rodon.
It is perhaps an ominous sign that Tottenham have offered less than half what the Swans want. But there is plenty of time for a deal to be done.
