Joe Hart has been placed on standby to make his Premier League debut for Tottenham in Sunday’s game against fierce rivals Arsenal, according to the Telegraph.
Hugo Lloris is nursing an injury and should he miss out Hart is ready to step into the breach for the first North London derby of the 2020/21 campaign.
The news might not be welcomed by Jose Mourinho after Hart endured a torrid time in the Europa League against LASK last night.

Tottenham were forced to settle for a 3-3 draw against the Austrian outfit with the former England stopper erratic at best.
Hart checked in at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium prior to the current campaign, making six appearances in all competitions.
The man with 75 England caps to his name is a veteran of 340 Premier League games and before last night he’d done alright for his new club.
Given the magnitude of Sunday’s game, however, Spurs will be hopeful that the £100,000-a-week Lloris can recover in time.
TBR View – Could this be mind games from Mourinho?
The Tottenham boss would dearly love to have the World Cup-winning goalkeeper available for this weekend.
Only Mourinho will know just how close the player is to a return to action and it’d be typical of the Portuguese boss to play mind games with Arsenal ahead of Sunday.

Tottenham are currently top of the Premier League and they’ll not want to give Arsenal the bragging rights this weekend.
It would put a lot of pressure on Hart after his erratic display last night if he had to come in and perform against the Gunners.
With that in mind, Spurs will hope and pray that Lloris is available and it’ll be interesting to see if this is more Mourinho mind games.
