Jesse Marsch is set to succeed Julian Nagelsmann at RB Leipzig, with German outlet Kicker reporting that he rejected an approach from Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs appear to have been linked with a host of names since parting company with Jose Mourinho last week.

The Telegraph reported that Nagelsmann was their top target. And according to Fabrizio Romano, they did make an approach.
However, Nagelsmann is heading to Bayern Munich. And it seems that his replacement at Leipzig also caught Spurs’s eye.

According to Kicker, Tottenham have also been rejected by Marsch, with the American set to take over from Nagelsmann at Red Bull Arena.
It is noted that Leipzig need to agree a fee with Red Bull Salzburg. But given the connection between the two clubs, you would imagine that that surely would not be any sort of problem.
Marsch has enjoyed a successful time in Austria. He won the double in his first year with the club, and they look to be on course to retain their league title this season.
He is a less high-profile name than some of the others who have been mentioned in connection with the Tottenham post. So perhaps, there may be some fans who are not too disappointed that they seem to have missed out.
However, they may well be concerned by the struggles to find their next boss.
Some of the names who have been linked seem extremely underwhelming. Unfortunately, with figures like Nagelsmann heading elsewhere, some fans may fear that Daniel Levy does not have the best pool to pick from.
