Jamie Murphy is expected to leave Rangers in the coming days, with The Scottish Sun reporting that the Gers are ready to let the winger move on from Ibrox in a cut-price fee.
Murphy has unfortunately become something of a forgotten man with Rangers. He has not played for Steven Gerrard’s side since October 2019.

That appearance had come after a torrid time for the 30-year-old. His 2018/19 campaign was over by the end of August due to injury.
He spent the latter half of this past season on loan at Burton Albion. And, despite impressing with the Brewers, he now looks set for a permanent move away.

The Scottish Sun has suggested that he is likely to leave in the coming days. And Rangers are willing to sanction a cut-price move away for the Scotland international, who is wanted by Dundee United.
TBR View: Sad end to Murphy’s Rangers spell after early promise
A potentially-imminent move will represent a sad end to Murphy’s time at Rangers. He was a very good loan signing for the Gers, and it appeared that making his move permanent would prove a masterstroke.
However, he has gone on to make just four league appearances since then. Had he not suffered such a serious injury in 2018, it would arguably be no surprise if he remained a key player to this day.
Unfortunately, it now looks to be best for all parties to sell Murphy this summer.
