Jack Grealish will not be leaving Aston Villa this month, according to reports in the Mirror. He is determined to keep his boyhood club in the Premier League and will not consider his future until the season comes to an end.
He has been with the Midlands club since the age of six and does not want to leave them in the middle of a relegation dog-fight. Villa are currently sat inside the relegation zone and in serious danger of playing Championship football next season.

Grealish is arguably the reason the Villains are not rooted to the bottom of the table. He has scored seven goals and assisted five in 21 Premier League games this season. His contributions are so crucial to this Villa side and without him, they would be all but relegated.
The English midfielder’s fine performances have caught the eye of pundits and rival clubs alike. When writing for the Daily Star, Paul Merson stated that the Villa star would walk into almost any Premier League side. It is hard to argue with him.

The 24-year-old has reached a whole new level this season and is well on his way to earning an England call-up. If Grealish continues performing at this level, Gareth Southgate would be crazy not to take him to the European Championships in the summer.
It is a refreshing change to see a player this loyal to his club. Whether he has what it takes to keep Villa in the Premier League remains to be seen. Either way, he will surely go down as a legend at Villa Park.
