Tottenham Hotspur may have a 50/50 chance of landing Nikola Milenkovic, with only them and Juventus in the race to sign him, Tutto Mercato Web report.
Down to two
Tottenham are seemingly targeting the £22 million-rated central defender (Viola News), as they look to make improvements to their backline.
And Milenkovic is very much on Tottenham’s radar, with Nuno’s side one of two sides pushing for him.
It is claimed that Milenkovic is now ‘between’ Spurs and Juventus.
The good news for Tottenham is that Fiorentina would rather sell him to a foreign club, which could put them in an advantageous position.
Romero the key?
But Tottenham’s move is likely to depend on what happens with Cristian Romero.

The Atalanta defender appears to be Tottenham’s first choice, although landing him could be tough due to his price-tag.
If Spurs can stretch their budget and afford a move for Romero, then it is questionable whether they will also bid for Milenkovic.
But if the Romero transfer doesn’t come off, then Tottenham’s chances of landing Milenkovic may increase, and with only one other club in the running – there doesn’t appear to be too many obstacles in their way.
