Italian outlet CalcioMercato have claimed that Christian Eriksen will leave Inter Milan in the January transfer window if a fee of £17million is tabled – while his wage demands, worth £120,000 a week, are met.
Eriksen, 28, left Tottenham after seven years with the north London club – where he played 305 times in all competitions. However, just a year later and he could be on his way back to the English capital after a poor year with Inter.
Indeed. the 103-time Denmark international has clocked up just 35 appearances in 12 months for Antonio Conte’s side – scoring only four goals. He has lost his place in Inter’s starting eleven.
According to ESPN, Arsenal are keen on Eriksen and the player is willing to join the Gunners – despite his prior allegiance with Tottenham. Now, CalcioMercato say that Arsenal must pay £17million and hand Eriksen wages worth £120,000.

TBR’s view – Would Eriksen be a good signing for Arsenal?
Tottenham decided to cash in on Eriksen with Jose Mourinho deciding against using him on a regular basis. Why? Eriksen lacked the intensity required to play in a team that used a counter-attacking style.
At Arsenal, then, surely Eriksen would suffer the same fate that has seen Mesut Ozil sidelined. His lack of intensity and his inability to apply pressure is completely against Mikel Arteta’s style of play. A good player, but he does not suit Arsenal.
