Tottenham Hotspur could be offered a very tempting offer to swap out Tanguy Ndombele this summer from Inter Milan, according to a report from Corriere dello Sport this week.
The report (print edition, 22/07/20; pg 6) has gone largely unnoticed in the press, which is surprising given the calibre of player seemingly on offer to Tottenham in exchange for the French misfit.
CdS is suggesting that Inter Milan are considering the idea of offering Croatian star Marcelo Brozovic to Tottenham in exchange for Ndombele.
It is claimed that Antonio Conte can see a future without the World Cup finalist at Inter and would be willing to sanction his swap if it meant Ndombele heading to the San Siro.

Brozovic is a name that Tottenham fans will be familiar with, as he has been linked in the past both when he was at Dinamo Zagreb and again at Inter.
In terms of value, it would be fair to pair up Ndombele and Brozovic. As reported by Calciomercato last October, Brozovic has a €60 million (£55m) release clause in his Inter contract, a figure the Nerazzurri reportedly consider low.
Brozovic has been considered the next Luka Modric in the past and whilst he has never quite emulated the Croatian legend, the 27-year-old has forged an impressive career on his own merit and was key to Croatia’s exceptional 2018 World Cup run.
Tottenham would be a perfect fit for the player, who certainly fits the mold of a Mourinho player more than any of the current options available to the Portuguese at Spurs.
If this swap offer ends up on the table, then Tottenham might find themselves struggling to turn it down this summer.
