Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte will turn his attentions towards Tottenham duo Tanguy Ndombele or Moussa Sissoko if he fails in his quest to sign Chelsea anchor N’Golo Kante, according to Corriere dello Sport, as per 90Min.
Conte has seen his team fall short of Juventus in the race for the title this season and wants to bolster his midfield ranks before the 2020/21 campaign gets underway.
Kante is the number one target with the Italian boss keen for a reunion with the man who has won Premier League titles with Chelsea and Leicester City.

Conte anticipates prising him away from Stamford Bridge could prove tricky, however, and has highlighted the Tottenham duo as backup options.
Ndombele arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer and cost Spurs a club record £63 million (Sky Sports).
His first season hasn’t gone according to plan, however, with Jose Mourinho admitting he had expected more from the Frenchman.
Sissoko has been in North London for four years following his arrival from Newcastle for £30 million in 2016.
His departure would perhaps be less surprising considering he is 30 and it might be Tottenham’s last chance to get decent money for the midfielder.
TBR – Offloading Sissoko or Ndombele could be ideal for Tottenham
Mourinho will want to reshape his squad this season and in order to do that, it could take a fair few millions.
His chances of getting the players he wants will undoubtedly be enhanced if Tottenham can offload a few players too.

Sissoko has been fairly frequent in the Tottenham team this season but Spurs aren’t particularly short in midfield.
Ndombele’s signing has been a disaster but at 23 the club might persist with him for another season.
Kante remains the priority for Inter but if they do come knocking on Tottenham’s door, letting one leave wouldn’t be the end of the world.
