Inter Milan are one of the sides monitoring Issa Diop, with Foot Mercato reporting that Spanish clubs and a Premier League rival also want the West Ham United defender.
Diop – who earns £67,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – has endured a frustrating season at the London Stadium.
The 24-year-old has made four Premier League appearances this season, with Craig Dawson leaping ahead of him in the pecking order.
He is running out of time if he hopes to leave in this window. The good news for Diop is that he appears to be attracting plenty of attention.
Foot Mercato reports that Liverpool have been tracking the Frenchman for several years. Meanwhile, Inter are also admirers – as are other Italian clubs as well as team in Spain.
It is claimed that a transfer in the coming days is not impossible. That would perhaps suggest that it is unlikely that Diop will be on the move.
West Ham have little need to sell this month. Moyes’s men have been busy during this window. And unless they want further additions, they may be content with keeping Diop.
So unless they are willing to consider a loan, or receive an eye-watering bid, it seems difficult to imagine Diop securing a move away before the deadline passes.
