Inter Milan could potentially offer midfielder Matias Vecino as a sweetener to Tottenham Hotspur in irder to get a deal for Christian Eriksen over the line.
The Nerazzurri are keen to sign the £75,000-a-week Denmark international (Spotrac), with club CEO Giuseppe Marrotta confirming the interest a few days ago (Sky Sports).
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Eriksen’s agent is expected in Milan in the coming days to sort out whether a move can happen this month or in the summer.

Apparently, Inter could try and include Vecino as makeweight in order to get their man this month rather than wait until the summer.
Vecino – a £20 million signing from Fiorentina in 2017 (Goal) – has made 17 appearances for Antonio Conte’s table-topping side so far this season and has started the last seven Serie A matches.
His contract expires in 18 months, which maybe suggests why Inter would be open to offloading.
TBR’s view – Vecino could be good Tottenham addition
Although Vecino is a different type of player to Eriksen, Spurs should perhaps consider taking him off Inter’s hands.

Realistically Giovani Lo Celso can be the playmaker to take over from Eriksen, but there is room in Tottenham’s squad for another box-to-box operator in midfield – especially with Moussa Sissoko out injured until April.
The 6ft 2in Uruguay international is something of an all-rounder, and is definitely worth considering if Inter really do want to offer him as part of a deal for Eriksen this month.
