Leeds United will be one of a number of teams using the World Cup to scout potential transfer targets.
Leeds fans will be keeping one eye on how American pair Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson fare against Wales tonight.
They don’t have to wait much longer to see Rasmus Kristensen in action for Denmark tomorrow.
There’s a number of players at the tournament who could have been turning out at Elland Road had things gone differently in the summer.

Charles De Ketelaere is part of Roberto Martinez’s Belgium squad, despite his poor form since choosing AC Milan over Leeds.
The deadline day Bamba Dieng saga also ended with the forward not joining Jesse Marsch’s side.
The pressure will be on Dia to perform in this tournament after Sadio Mane dropped out of the squad with an injury.
Dia has already really impressed Mane, and now has to deliver in the Bayern Munich star’s absence.
Leeds could be interested in Dia
Boulaye Dia was on the move this summer, swapping Villarreal for Salernitana on a season long loan deal.
The 26-year-old has been in good form for the Serie A side, with six goals and two assists in 14 appearances.
He’s the team’s top scorer as Salernitana find themselves comfortably sitting in mid-table.
Dia typically spends most of his time in the opposition penalty box, and doesn’t link play too often.
He’s not the most active forward out of possession, and would need to adapt slightly to Marsch’s high-energy tactics.

Given Rodrigo’s impressive form in front of goal this season, a forward may not be Leeds’ main priority in January.
However, Dia offers a very different option to the Spaniard, who typically prefers to play a deeper role.
Leeds could be interested in Dia if he showcases his talents on the biggest stage over the next month.
A good World Cup could inflate his asking price though, which may not appeal to those at Elland Road.
