Hull City are on the verge of sealing a loan deal for Everton starlet Josh Bowler. According to TEAMtalk, Bowler has travelled to Hull for a medical ahead of a season-long loan move.
The Tigers have beaten off a number of other teams for Bowler’s signature. Birmingham City, Derby County and Middlesbrough were also eager to sign the youngster.
Bowler is yet to make his debut for Everton since his summer 2017 switch from Queens Park Rangers but he has thoroughly impressed in the U23 team.

Last season, the 20-year-old played 16 times in the Premier League 2, scoring three goals. He is considered an exciting talent but Marco Silva has not yet used him in the senior squad.
Bowler will head to Hull with only 20 minutes of senior action to his name. That came in a Championship game for QPR just before he left to join the Toffees.
Make or break season for Bowler
Bowler moves to Hull and he will be eager to impress. Grant McCann has moved to bolster his winger options amid reports that Kamil Grosicki and Jarrod Bowen could leave.
This is a defining season for Bowler, who signed a three-year deal at Everton in summer 2017. His contract expires next summer and he needs to use this campaign to prove why Silva should offer him fresh terms beyond summer 2020.
