Liverpool youngster Herbie Kane is on Hull City’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report by The Hull Daily Mail.
Hull are interested in signing Kane on loan from Liverpool for the 2019/20 season. After a mid-table finish, Nigel Adkins is hoping to utilise the loan market to improve his squad.
Kane is seen as a potential new addition. After an impressive season on loan at Doncaster Rovers, he is set to make the step up and at least play Championship football next term.
Liverpool loaned Harry Wilson out to Hull in January 2018 and that arrangement worked out well. So they could trust Adkins with Kane.
The young central midfielder has caught the eye this season for Doncaster. Kane has been a regular in Rovers’ midfield and is part of their play-off campaign at the moment.
With seven goals and nine assists in 48 games, the 20-year-old has demonstrated his ability in the third-tier. Now he needs to take the next step up.
Liverpool rate Kane very highly. The England youth international has always been a regular in Liverpool’s youth teams and now he is getting senior football under his belt.
If Kane can impress with Hull in the Championship, he could break into Liverpool’s team for the 2020/21 season.
