Tottenham Hotspur are growing increasingly reluctant to allow Dele Alli to leave during the January transfer window, according to a report from the London Evening Standard.
Dele’s future has been a talking point for some time. He has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho. And he goes into Wednesday’s game with Fulham having made one start in the Premier League this season.

The London Evening Standard reported this week that Dele was expected to leave in January. And it was suggested that Paris Saint-Germain may offer him a fresh challenge after seeing bids rejected in the summer.
Of course, a move to the French capital seemed to become even more likely with Mauricio Pochettino on the verge of being named as Thomas Tuchel’s successor.

However, it now appears that Dele may be going nowhere next month.
The Evening Standard is now reporting that Tottenham are becoming increasingly reluctant to let him go. It is suggested that the number of injuries within Mourinho’s squad is a key factor.
The report also notes that Spurs are holding out hope that the 24-year-old can still rediscover his old form.
TBR View: Potential blow for Dele
The Evening Standard reported that Dele was open to leaving next month. So it may be disappointing for him if Tottenham decide that they want to keep him.
Spurs are arguably making the right decision if the injuries are piling up. But Dele – who earns £100,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – may fear that the injury problems may have to get worse before he gets a prolonged run in the side.
