Harry Winks reportedly intends to try secure a move away from Tottenham at the end of the season.
According to Spanish publication Sport, the 25-year-old will “insist” on a move away from Spurs when the summer transfer window opens.
The report adds that the England international is keen to join an elite Spanish club during the next stage of his career.
Winks, who earns £50,000-a-week, came out of the club’s academy and he’s made 164 senior appearances for the North London outfit.
He is a ball-playing central midfielder that is technically sound, but he’s struggled to nail down a regular starting position under current manager Jose Mourinho and perhaps falls short on the physical side of his game.
His contract at Spurs doesn’t expire until 2024, so it’ll be interesting to see where his future lies and how much he would be valued at.

TBR’s View:
If Winks does end up transferring to La Liga, it’s the type of move that could get the best out of him and perhaps he needs fresh surroundings to reignite his career.
The midfielder has had a stop-start season so far with 21 games across all competitions and he should be fearing for his England spot ahead of the summer’s European Championships.
His style of play is one that could suit a slower and more technical La Liga.
