Tottenham Hotspur are looking to agree a new contract with Harry Kane with a report from The Independent claiming that initial talks are underway.
Spurs are seemingly under little pressure to extend Kane’s deal. As noted by the report, his current terms run until 2024.

However, he is attracting interest. Manchester City are reportedly keen on the 27-year-old, while Paris Saint-Germain are also linked.
And The Independent has suggested that Daniel Levy is keen to make sure that the striker remains happy in North London.

Unsurprisingly, The Independent reports that Kane would be in line for a pay rise on his £200,000-a-week deal. It is claimed that he is receptive to talks.
TBR View: Huge statement for Spurs if Kane pens fresh terms
It would send out a big message if Spurs managed to agree a new contract with Kane.
Kane does not need to sign a deal. He has plenty of time left on his current contract. And as reported by The Independent, he is happy to stay as long as he feels that Tottenham can win trophies.
Signing a new deal therefore, would highlight that Kane is still convinced that Spurs is still the best place for him – in what should be the peak years of his career.
