Glenn Middleton is on the verge of leaving Ibrox on loan once again, with The Courier suggesting that the Rangers winger is set to train with his new teammates on Monday.
Middleton has become something of a forgotten man with the Gers. The 21-year-old has made just one appearance for Steven Gerrard’s side so far this season.

It is remarkable to recall some of his performances during Gerrard’s first season. His display away at Spartak Moscow in the Europa League will live long in the memory for many.
Unfortunately he has struggled to kick on since then. He has been out on two loans previously. And it appears that he is now set for another.

The Courier reports that he will join St Johnstone for the rest of the season. It is claimed that he will train with Callum Davidson’s men on Monday. And it is suggested that he could make his debut for the Saints on Wednesday.
Things are currently going well at McDiarmid Park. They reached the League Cup final at the weekend and they are currently five unbeaten in all competitions.
Middleton needs to prove that he can make an impact in the Scottish Premiership. He struggled for game-time while at Hibernian last season.
And while he is still a young player, and has proved in the past how impressive he can be for the Gers, it does feel like this loan could be pivotal in deciding whether he has a long-term future at Ibrox.
