Newcastle United striker, Dwight Gayle, could be on his way out of the club, with Galatasaray said to be interested in the forward.
The Chronicle, via a report from the Mirror, claims the Turkish giants have shown an interest in the former Peterborough striker.
Gayle, who earns a reported £40k-a-week at St James’ Park, is out of contract this summer and is set to attract interest from a number of parties both at home and abroad.

His time with the Magpies has been inconsistent to say the least. He’s made just 11 Premier League appearances this season, with just the single goal to his name. However, in fairness, he has missed much of the campaign with injury.
He finished last season with a small flurry of goals. But like this year, much of that campaign was disrupted by injury.
Gayle signed for Newcastle in 2016, penning a five-year deal for a fee reported to be in the region of £10m at the time.
TBR View: Gayle has plenty left to offer but abroad might be best for him
In terms of a fresh start, a move abroad might be best for Gayle. His career has stalled a bit in England and at times he’s looked like he is ready for a fresh start.
Injuries, coupled with the toxic atmosphere that sometimes hovers around St James, hasn’t helped matters for Gayle.
In fairness, a move to Galatasaray is a huge opportunity. If that contract does come his way, it would surely take something special from elsewhere to sway him.
