Turkish giants Galatasaray have reportedly registered their interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
According to Turkish-Football, the Egypt international is being eyed by the Istanbul-based outfit, who had a disappointing 2019/20 campaign in which they finished sixth.

Apparently the club have approached the 28-year-old’s representatives, who will attempt to facilitate his exit from the Gunners, with a formal loan offer expected from Gala.
The star spent last season on loan with Besiktas where he performed well, but a pay dispute means he is unlikely to rejoin the club for a second stint.
Also said to be interested are Trabzonspor, who finished the Super Lig season as runners-up behind Istanbul Baskasehir.
Elneny has previously stated his happiness playing in Turkey, and a move to Gala could come to fruition since they are Istanbul-based like Besiktas.

It is thought Elneny is not in Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans at the Emirates, and there has been plenty of talk about potential new midfielders coming in such as Thomas Partey.
TBR’s View – Arsenal should sell
Turkish-Football are claiming Gala are preparing to lodge a loan bid, but Arsenal should really be trying to offload Elneny permanently.
Perhaps Arteta will run the rule over him in pre-season, but realistically the former Basel star has not set the world alight in north London since his move to the club in 2016.
Gunners officials need to do their utmost to try and get as much money as possible for the £50,000-a-week Elneny (Spotrac), with funds said to be even tighter this summer than last.
