Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama has emerged as a potential transfer target for Galatasaray.
According to Takvim, the Turkish giants are looking to part ways with AS Roma loanee midfielder Steven Nzonzi in January, and see Wanyama as a credible replacement.

Wanyama has hardly featured for Tottenham this term, making just four appearances in all competitions so far. He has played just nine minutes under Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese clearly favours the likes of Eric Dier, Harry Winks and Tanguy Ndombele more than the Kenya international, who has been at the club since 2016.
Gala boss Faith Terim has a good relationship with Mourinho and has apparently already enquired to the Portuguese about Wanyama’s availability.
TBR’s view – Time to sell
Spurs should strongly consider moving Wanyama on amid the interest.
Unfortunately the 28-year-old just doesn’t seem fancied by Mourinho, and hardly got a look in from Mauricio Pochettino as well.

The knee problems he’s had in 2018 and 2019 appear to have rendered him a shadow of his former self.
He would surely be in the starting XI if he was displaying the kind of form he showed in 2016/17 alongside Mousa Dembele.
£65,000-a-week (Spotrac) Wanyama is out of contract in the summer of 2021 and so it could be in Spurs’ best interest to sell now to get decent money.
