Arsenal have finally got some good news with reports emerging today that Gabriel Martinelli will return to action for the Gunners in the EFL Trophy tonight.
Football.London have claimed the news as an exclusive and they believe Martinelli will play around 45-60 minutes against AFC Wimbledon this evening.

The Brazilian hasn’t played since March and his return could offer Mikel Arteta a timely boost as his team continues to struggle in front of goal.
Martinelli, who earns a reported £90k-a-week with new and improve contract, will be hoping to get through the tie and, ultimately, put himself in contention for Premier League minutes over the Christmas period.
Arteta has seen his side struggle in front of goal this term. The likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are not in form, while they remain one of the lowest scorers in the Premier League as a collective.

Martinelli’s return, then, could well be a decisive moment in the season for Arsenal.

We’ve seen for weeks now the snippets from training about Martinelli making a return and it seems Gunners fans are finally going to get their wish tonight.
An EFL Trophy game might normally be low on the agenda for Arsenal fans but Martinelli’s inclusion will spark some interest.
Hopefully, he can come through with flying colours and put himself in contention for the busy December period.
