Fulham are eyeing a shock attempt to sign Barcelona defender Gerard Pique this summer, according to Peruvian outlet Libero, with the Spaniard not thought to be part of Ronald Koeman’s plans.
The Catalans giants were denied by Real Madrid in their title quest during 2019/20, with Bayern Munich emphatically dumping them out of the Champions League.
Fulham have already put an offer on the table, according to the report, with Scott Parker keen to complete an astonishing piece of summer business.

Pique, 33 has been a real Barcelona hero during his time at the club. He’s won eight league titles, three Champions League crowns and also won six Spanish Cup titles.
Signing a player with such a winning mentality would undoubtedly help Fulham, as they look to ensure they avoid relegation back to the Championship.
Pique played 23 times for Manchester United earlier in his career and he’d quickly be able to adapt to first-team football.
The last time Fulham reached the Premier League they were relegated after just one season. Parker will hope for a different state of affairs during 2020/21.
Signing Pique clearly won’t be easy, with the player earning a reported £220,000-a-week at the Nou Camp.
TBR View – Pique might be a pipedream but it shows ambition
Fulham spent a fortune on players the last time they won promotion and many of them weren’t up to scratch.

The link to Pique would perhaps suggest this time around will be all about quality over quantity.
Signing the World Cup-winning 103-cap international would represent a massive coup for not just Fulham but for the Premier League too.
It’s a case waiting and seeing as far as the Cottagers are concerned but what a move it would be if Parker could get this one over the line.
