Fulham are reportedly in talks with Championship side Huddersfield Town for their left-footed defender Terence Kongolo.
The 26-year-old moved to Craven Cottage back in January on loan, but he made just two appearances before he missed the rest of the season with a foot injury.
According to the Daily Mail, Scott Parker’s side are holding discussions about bringing the centre-back back to Craven Cottage on a permanent bass.
The report explains he’s available for £3million and talks are underway, but Fulham will now conduct a medical after Sheffield United were hesitant to sign him due to his fitness.
Kongolo hasn’t had the best time of time in English football so far, but Huddersfield splashed out £17.5million (Sky Sports) to sign him from Monaco a couple of years ago.
He is a still a talented centre-back that has played four times on the international stage for Holland and is a ball-playing defender that is versatile enough to slot into left-back if needed.

TBR’s View:
With the EFL transfer window shutting on Friday, it would be great for Fulham to try secure another signing and add another fresh face to a squad that looks like it could struggle this season in the top-flight.
Fulham sit rock bottom of the Premier League table after the opening four games and have conceded 11 goals already, so it’s no surprise they are looking to add defensive recruits.
Kongolo is someone that has a point to prove in the Premier League and his recent injury may make him a risk, but at £3million it looks an absolute no-brainer and they should do all they can to get it over the line.
