Everton reject the chance to sign Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks as part of a swap deal with Richarlison.
It has been reported this month that Everton are in talks with Spurs over signing the Englishman to bolster their engine room.
But the Telegraph are reporting that Tottenham tried to make that deal happen as a player-plus-cash deal with Richarlison.
And Frank Lampard’s men have rejected that opportunity as they underline their desire to keep the Brazilian at Goodison Park.

Everton reject Winks swap bid
It is not clear if Everton retain an interest in landing Winks, outside the realm of a swap deal for Richarlison.
Tottenham are keen to add the versatile Brazilian to their frontline and it seems they are looking into ways to make that affordable.
Spurs have been quicker than usual with their transfer business this summer, but it seems they are still looking for creative ways to balance the books.
They have players they want to get rid of, and also seemingly do not want to make a straight cash offer for Richarlison – so they are trying player-plus-cash swaps.

Winks has been described as ‘very, very good’ by Spurs legend Robbie Keane, but he has lost his way under Antonio Conte.
It is not a surprise that Spurs are trying to use Winks in this way, but it seems Everton have no interest in getting him as part of a deal which sees Richarlison leave.
Richarlison was so crucial to Everton’s survival last season and losing him would not help Lampard’s attempts to steer them to a better finish in his first full season in charge.
